As Chris & Corrie just celebrated their 1 year wedding anniversary, I think it’s time to get their wedding up on the blog! These two are one of the most fun couples that you’ll ever meet – one look at them together and it’s easy to see that these two not only love the heck out of one another, but they are the best of friends. Corrie & Chris said their I Do’s at the beautiful chapel at Brentwood Baptist and then celebrated at W.O. Smith School of Music. We brought in deep reds and oranges to fit the fall season, then added bright punches of hot pink and subtle brown to round out their color palette.
These two also share a huge mutual love for their dogs (as do I!) – they even included them in their engagement shoot!

Music has always been a huge part of Corrie’s life, so it was fitting that she’d have her wedding reception at a music school! If you’ve never been inside W.O. Smith School of Music, you’re missing out! Not only do they offer deeply discounted music lessons to under privileged children, but they have a stunningly modern facility that makes a gorgeous location for a wedding reception! Corrie was not a ‘typical’ bride by a long shot – she wanted her reception to be fun and centered around their family and friends. In lieu of floral centerpieces, guests were treated to centerpieces made of desserts – mini creme brulee, rice krispie treat pops, brownies, cookies – and of course an extensive candy bar. Each centerpiece and item at the candy bar had a dedication from the bride and groom to a particular family member or friend whom had been influential in their lives.
