Reference Letters

I had a client who was very thorough in her interviewing of vendors.  She requested that I give her 3 brides and 3 vendors whom she could contact to check my references.  Upon completing her research, she forwarded me the emails she had received from my former clients so that I could see what was being said about my services.  The letters below are why I do what I do – and why I love it!

The first problem I ran into with planning my wedding, is that everyone seems to have their own opinion on everything about your wedding.  One of the great things about Meredith is that she dives into your interests and expands on them.  I was a very untraditional bride, and Meredith was so supportive of that.  She was always sending me pictures or texting me new ideas she had, I usually ended up loving them because she listened to what I liked and didn’t like.
The second problem I ran into was money.  I think the thought of spending so much money on one day sort of paralyzed me.  Because Meredith is such an expert on weddings, she told me exactly where to spend money and where we could cut back.  THIS WAS A GODSEND. Would I have thought of adding in lighting at the reception venue? No, not on my own.  Meredith explained that great lighting will give you great pictures. You can have a beautiful venue with great linens, flowers, etc., but they won’t neccesarily show up that way in your pictures if the lighting is bad.  Another thing we added close to the wedding, was a videographer.  I am so glad we did this! The music at my ceremony was so important to me, and we captured all of it.  We also got to see all the fun stuff that happened at the reception venue before we arrived.
The third problem I had was that I had no information about any vendors in Nashville, and honestly I didn’t have the slightest clue about what to even look for / ask about.  Meredith had so many connections with vendors in Nashville! This was great because all of the vendors for our wedding were fantastic to work with, and they all did an amazing job.  I also would not have had the brain capacity to check in / follow up with all of them the week of the wedding.  Meredith had a complete detailed timeline for our day, in addition to a contact list of all the vendors just in case we ended up needing them.
Every time I think about our wedding day I tear up. It was so wonderful.  Meredith puts her heart and soul into planning weddings and it shows.  She was always available to chat with us, and kept us on track with what we had to do and when it needed to be done.  On the day of the wedding, she is calm and collected (this was important for me because sometimes when I’m stressed I am really good at making everyone around me stressed out too). Whether it is preparing a plate for you and your new husband to eat before you’re ushered into the reception, or it is helping your fiance find an antique car to drive off in because one time he heard you say that had always been your dream, Meredith is going to make sure your day goes smooth and turns out to be everything you always dreamed of.
The reason I didn’t call you is because I wanted to make sure I fit in everything I could.  Not only is she an extremely talented event planner, she is a wonderful person and friend. Working with Meredith was an absolute pleasure.
If you have any questions or want to chat further, please feel free to give me a call! Congratulations on your engagement!!
Thanks,

Hi there.
Let me first start off by saying Meredith is one the sweetest and most caring people I know. I first met her through our job a few years ago and we instantly hit it off. Once I got engaged I began to talk wedding details but had no clue what I wanted and really needed someone to help me out. She immediately began sending me ideas, made a binder to organize everything, etc. She went above and beyond what a friend or wedding planner should do and exceeded mine and my family’s expectations.
I can honestly say I was NEVER stressed throughout the entire planning process, or the day of. My Dad still talks about how wonderful and helpful she was and took a lot of stress off of him. Everything went so smoothly the day of (minus the lovely weather you have no control of) and it was just natural for her to adjust and make things happen even with storms. We got married the weekend before the big flood in Nashville so you can only imagine.
I would DEFINITELY hire her again. I am not saying this just because I am partial to Meredith and because she has also become a good friend. I am saying this because I know that if you allow her to plan your wedding you won’t be disappointed and you will have the most amazing day ever! She is so organized and on top of things it’s insane. I helped her yesterday assist at a wedding and everything was on time, to the tee and ran smoothly.  You will be very satisfied if you allow her to help you plan your big day. I have no doubt in my mind Meredith has a thousand more ideas than she did a year and a half ago – she is a pro!
I hope that you allow her to help you in planning your big day. Good luck and let me know if you need anything else!
Thanks,

I am very happy to answer any questions you may have about Meredith and Bridal Blueprints.  I definitely had a very positive experience working with Meredith.  My husband and I hired her to be our month of coordinator and she totally exceeded our expectations.  She was involved and helpful from the moment that we met and definitely went above and beyond what we contracted her to do.  One big example of this that comes to mind is six months before our wedding when we were trying to decide on a caterer.  My husband and I had met with four different caterers and were getting stressed out about deciding between the two we had narrowed it down to – one with great reviews but a higher price and one with average reviews but a much lower price.  Meredith and I talked about this decision for awhile and she offered to step in and reach out to the caterer with great reviews but the higher price.  After a few phone calls back and forth between her, the caterer with the higher price, and myself she was able to get the caterer to drop their price and be the same price as the caterer with average reviews/lower price.  The main reason that the caterer was willing to drop their price was because we were working with Meredith and she was assured that our wedding would be coordinated well and she would not need the number of staff she had originally though – plus, Meredith and her have a long standing relationship and she wanted to continue to work with Meredith and her brides.  I was completely blown away by how quickly Meredith resolved the stressful decision – something I never could have done myself and definitely don’t think many of the wedding coordinators I interviewed before Meredith could do either!!

In addition to working very well with vendors Meredith herself is really creative.  Depending on how much help you want forming your vision for the day she can offer great suggestions and execute the look she promises. She worked really hard to make sure that Allen and my “vision” for our wedding reception was exactly what we saw when we walked into the reception. We received so many compliments on all of the details that Meredith helped us create!!

Throughout the wedding planning process Meredith was easy to get a hold of and really helped keep things low stress and fun. At first I didn’t think I would need a wedding coordinator but about 4 months into the planning I realized there were a lot of pieces to putting a wedding together – I am so glad that I found Meredith because she really allowed me to be as much a part of the wedding planning as I wanted – which meant that I got to do all the fun stuff like picking caterers, cakes, colors, etc. – but I didn’t have to deal with all the behind the scene details that tend to cause the stress. I would definitely hire Meredith again… and would 100% recommend her.
